BSC Splits The Day Going 1-1

Bismarck State College faced a doubleheader for the second day in a row. The Mystics proved to be a force to be reckoned with in their first match of the day, taking down Iowa Lakes Community College 3-0 (25-12, 25-15, and 25-16). In the second match, the Mystics would be unable to keep the momentum going against Iowa Central Community College and would fall in straight sets, 0-3 (16-25, 13-25, and 15-25).

In the victory, Paige McAllister led the team with eight kills and contributed to four blocks, while Breena Sand and Staci Kempenich each had four aces. Kempenich would also add 27 assists to drive the team’s offense.

Bismarck State College is 6-0 in conference and 12-7 overall.
