Mystic Earn A Road Split Verse Tetons

The Bismarck State College softball team would go on the road to Williston State College to finish a busy weekend of six games over three days. The Mystics were able to split the doubleheader with the Tetons, thanks to their offense on the day.

In game one, the Mystics would get big games at the plate from Halle Mattern and Daisy Sparrow, but it wouldn’t be enough as the Mystics would fall 11-9. Mattern would go 4 for 4 at the plate, driving in two runs and scoring twice. Sparrow would go 3 for 4, while matching Mattern with two runs batted in and scoring twice herself.

The offense would continue into game two, as the Mystics would come out on top 7-4 to split the doubleheader. Mattern would drive in another two runs on the day in game two to help the Mystics. Sophia Wood pitched a complete game, only allowing three earned runs, while also driving in two runs at the plate, to help earn herself the win.

The Mystics have a record of 14-17-1 overall and 6-10 in conference.

The Mystics continue on the road as they travel to face Lake Region State College on Wednesday, April 17.
