Kurt Grensteiner

A North Dakota native, Grensteiner graduated from Braddock High School where he participated in High School basketball and summer league baseball.  He later played American Legion baseball for Napoleon, North Dakota.  

Kurt has coached a variety of sports for over 25 years.  He has coach basketball, football, baseball, and of course fastpitch softball.   Over the years he has coached in Braddock, Bismarck, Fargo, and Ohio.   He has 16 years of fastpitch coaching experience while winning many tournaments and titles along the way.  Kurt has been a part of building and continuing many successful programs in various sports.  Kurt also has held several coaching clinics, implemented coach mentoring programs, and player scholarship programs throughout the Midwest. 

Most recently Kurt was the Head Softball Coach at Bismarck High School from 2015-2021.  Bismarck High School record while under his leadership was 163-54.  During his tenor BHS won 3 WDA Tournament Championships in 2017,2018, and 2019. Won the WDA regular season Championship in 2019. Reached 3 ND State Tournament Championship games in 2017.2019, and 2021.  Was ND State Consolation Champions in 2016. WDA Coach of the year in 2019. ND State All Star Coach in 2018 and 2021.  Kurt also has been a part of many Club/Travel Teams most recently ND Elite, Northern Force and Launch Academy. 

Grensteiner currently works for Bismarck Public Schools and is a small business owner in the area.  His spare time is spent with family and friends.
