Mystic Split Doubleheader with Tetons

The Bismarck State College softball team would get some late inning heroics to earn a split on the day with Williston State College.

In the first game of the day, the Mystics would fall behind early to the Tetons and wouldn’t be able to dig themselves out of the whole, losing the game 3-6. Caeleigh Goodman would help keep the Mystics in the game, as she would pitch four innings in relief, only allowing one hit and no runs.

The Mystics and Tetons would turn game two into a back-and-forth battle of their offenses. In the end, the Mystics would come out on top 10-9. In the bottom of the sixth inning, the Mystics would get a three run home run from Alexis Wesson, which would end up being the game winner. Wesson would drive in four total runs in the game, powering the Mystics to the win.

The Mystics have a record of 11-16-1 overall and 5-9 in conference.

The Mystics travel to face Williston State College Sunday, April 14.
