Mystics Extend Win Streak In Florida

Bismarck State College’s softball team had to play until almost 1 a.m. to finish the day, but at the end, the Mystics would win a 9 inning game against Hocking College 13-10, their second victory of the day. The first victory of the day came against Macomb Community College with the Mystics winning 5-1.

Sophia Wood controlled the game against Macomb striking out seven and only allowing one earned run to earn the win. Elin Williams drove in two runs for the Mystics.

In the late game, the Mystics would need all the offense they could muster to get the win, including three runs in the top of the ninth to lock in the victory. Dominique Baker, Halle Mattern, and Daisy Sparrow each had two hits, providing much needed offense at the top of the lineup.
