Mystics Face Tough Battles Against Dakota County Technical College

In a challenging doubleheader, the Bismarck State College Mystics faced off against Dakota County Technical College, unfortunately coming up short in both games. The first game concluded with a score of 1-6, and the second game ended 5-6.

Despite the losses, the Mystics showcased their resilience and talent throughout the day. In game one, pitcher Caeleigh Goodman gave an outstanding performance, pitching 3.2 innings while allowing only three hits and no runs. Dominique Baker went 1-3, stealing a base, and scoring the Mystics' sole run of the game.

The second game saw the Mystics inching closer to a win, demonstrating their ability to bounce back. Elin Williams took the mound, delivering a solid 3 innings without allowing any runs. Halle Mattern played a key role, going 2-3, driving in and scoring a run. Dominique Baker continued her impact offensively, going 2-3 and adding another run to her day.

The Mystics have a record of 14-25-1 overall and 6-16 in conference.

The Mystics continue the weekend at Dakota County Technical College on Sunday April 28.
